A resort in a timeless setting

Each residence has a story to tell - an event, a trip, an emotion - that blends with the antique furniture, chosen with taste and tradition, and architectural details, such as glimpses of ancient olive groves and the blue of the sea through a window. Combined, they make our resort a place where you can experience the region in all its magic.

Il Nido

Il Nido is a fascinating panoramic apartment in the original fifteenth century fortified nucleus of Masseria Spina Grande, built in the fifteenth century, featuring sea views. It is suitable for couples and small families looking for a pleasantly romantic and peaceful place.

Entirely renovated with valuable antiques and prized ornamentation, over the years Il Nido has been used as a warehouse for the storage of foodstuffs and, during World War II, as a bomb shelter.

The apartment comfortably accommodates 4-6 people and consists of a spacious living area with dining table and 2 single beds; two large double bedrooms; a spacious bathroom with a splendid bath in copper made between the seventeenth and eighteenth century; a well-equipped kitchen area with sink and work surfaces in hand-crafted stone.

La Masseria

La Masseria is a beautiful apartment with sea views, located in the main floor of the central body of the Fortified Masseria Spina Grande (11th-18thc.) and offers 6-8 comfortable beds.

This apartment is recommended for couples and families looking for a refined, elegantly-furnished space with antique furniture, in a rustic and fascinating setting.

La Masseria is situated in the original fifteenth-century fortified tower, built by the Chiantera family and later expanded by the Spina family (16thc.) with a fortified front building. In 1760, the impressive Baroque monumental staircase and the portico were added by the Martinelli family. La Masseria, originally featuring a square plan, is spread out on three floors, with the first entrance facing Spina Piccola, accessed from the two-story portico with three elongated arches, located at the north corner. The apartment has a spacious living area with a table and two single beds; a large bedroom with a double bed (which can become a quadruple room); a spacious living room with large wooden table; a second double bedroom featuring a balcony with sea views; 2 spacious bathrooms, enriched with marble and late 1700s ceramics; a spacious and well-equipped kitchen area with a unique fireplace and table with a handcrafted "cupboard".

Il Fico

Il Fico is a charming apartment full of tradition, perfect for those looking to spend their holidays in the timeless atmosphere of the Puglian countryside. A part of the monumental complex of the Fortified Masseria Spina (11th-18thc.), Il Fico offers 6-8 comfortable beds in three separate areas. It has a total autonomy from the rest of the complex thanks to an outdoor area and an independent entrance, making it particularly suitable for couples and families.

Our residence takes its name from the spectacular centuries-old fig tree in front of the large two-story window looking out from the living area, a space complete with a dining table, beautifully equipped open-space kitchen, tv corner and a double bedroom with en suite bathroom. The space is accented by beautiful ceiling vaults which, as per local tradition, are made entirely of tuff.

La Filanda

La Filanda is a lovely apartment in a charming complex of Fortified Masseria Spina Grande (11th-18thc.). An ancient building used for silk processing in the eighteenth century, La Filanda is part of the structures built in the second half of the 1700s. Its construction was boosted after Carlo III of Spain’s purchase of the Casino di San Leucio in Caserta, later transformed into a cutting-edge ‘royal mill'.

With an area of 80 sq m, the residence offers 4-5 comfortable beds located on two floors. On the ground floor is a large living area with sofa bed, a bathroom with shower, a TV area, a fully-equipped open-space kitchen with beautiful wooden bar. On the first floor, an outside balcony, a double bedroom and a bedroom with a single bed, a second bathroom with a shower and a large outdoor area that, through a separate entrance, enjoys autonomy from the rest of the complex. The residence is characterised by beautiful vaults made of exposed tuff and wide-open spaces, made magical by the presence of olive trees.
